To me, Botanical Leaf is a tribute to nature through raw materials. I created this large leaf made entirely from upcycled colored pencils, setting it against a neutral background to craft a bold, almost iconic silhouette. I selected and placed each pencil with care to shape an organic figure that speaks of growth, life, and memory.
I wanted its vibrant texture and minimalist composition to work both as a contemporary artwork and as a gentle connection to the natural world. Framed in natural wood, the piece finds a seamless balance between handcrafted detail and timeless design.
